In the spirit of professionalism and reliability, Home Care Assistance uses an automated telephony system to carefully track and verify the shifts of scheduled caregivers. This tracking system, known as “ClearCare”, allows us to accurately bill our clients and pay our caregivers for hours worked.
At the beginning of every shift, the caregiver will “clock-in” to ClearCare from the client’s phone, thereby alerting the office that they have indeed arrived and are working. If there is no clock in after 15 minutes of the start of a scheduled shift, we receive a system alert. We then call the clients home to verify that the caregiver is in fact there. In the same fashion, at the end of the shift, the caregiver will “clock-out” via the automated system. This removes any question or concern on the part of the family. Furthermore it provides peace of mind knowing we are monitoring our employees. We log and and track everything, so that you don’t have to. ClearCare also gives our caregivers the ability to record messages on the system regarding updates or events that may have come up during their time with the client.
There is also a client portal to ClearCare where we can share information about a client with their families. This open line of communication is very much appreciated, allowing the family the ability to log into their “Family Room” to see who is working, care logs and calendars of scheduled shifts.
