The team at Home Care Assistance is building on momentum as Montreal’s premier provider of high-quality, customized care solutions and growing our team of professional caregivers.
“By acquiring the caregiving team of Complete Care Coordination, we’ve welcomed 65 additional caregivers and one office team member who share our values, culture and commitment to providing individualized care for seniors,” explains Home Care Assistance Regional Director of Operations, Tim Thomas. “It’s a great fit. We embrace a similar concierge approach to caregiving, digging deep to understand each client’s specific needs, and then customizing caregiving accordingly.”
Founded by registered nurse Dee Davidson in 2000, Complete Care has built its reputation by cultivating a comprehensive approach to senior care over the last two decades. Now, the group’s caregivers will continue to provide those services through the broader Home Care Assistance network and banner.
“I’ve known and worked with the founders of Home Care Assistance for many years. They’re professional, conscientious, competent and offer great service,” Davidson says. “When you are committed to caregiving like we are, you feel a genuine responsibility for clients, families, and the team. Through this move, we have been able to ensure a seamless transition focused on preserving the close relationships that have developed between our clients, their families and our caregivers.”
Grounded in science and backed by empathy, that concierge care model is something Thomas hopes to bring to even more clients in the years ahead. Home Care Assistance is continuously assessing opportunities to acquire and join forces with likeminded organizations, equally committed to tailoring care to unique needs and nuances.
“We’re on the look-out for additional companies and teams that represent this special fit,” Thomas says. “We’re hoping to extend our commitment to high-quality care by bringing our caregiving services to other parts of Quebec, and eastern Ontario next.”
